Teaching

I teach on a regular basis two very large classes that are perfectly aligned with my interests. The first is an introductory social psychology class which allows me to rant about my view of the entire field. My second class is on Intergroup Relations which is my chosen field of study. How fortunate is that?

In addition I regularly teach in remote Aboriginal communities where the teaching challenges are completely different but hugely rewarding. The communities where workshops have been given include:

  • Fourteen Inuit Communitites of Arctic Quebec (Nunavik)
  • Kanawake (Mohawk) Office of First Nations & Inuit Education, McGill University
  • Eskasoni (Mi’kmaq) Native Studies Programme, St Thomas University, Fredericton, NB
